Over 2,600 Indian enterprises switch to BES 10: BlackBerry

NEW DELHI: Buoyed by the overwhelming response to its EZ Pass Programme in India, Canadian handset maker BlackBerry has said that more than 2,600 enterprises in the country are using BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) 10.


Launched in India in June 2014, the promotional programme has found acceptance amongst existing and competitive base in India with organisations using BES 10 to manage BlackBerry, iOS and Android smartphones, it said in a release. "Since the inception of the EZ Pass Programme, more than 2,600 enterprises comprising 1.2 million licenses have switched over to BES 10 and more than 1,00,000 of those licenses have been traded in from competitors," BlackBerry added. EZ Pass programme gives organisations an opportunity to consolidate their BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices onto one single, secure management platform with lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
