Along with Leena and Chandrashekar, 4 other people associated with films have been detained and will remain in the custody for questioning till tomorrow.
Officers handling the case have recovered 9 luxurious cars worth 5 crore rupees from the actress' house. They have also siezed 117 branded watches worth over a crore from where Leena and Chandrashekar were living in together.
According to the officials the actress and her partner were operating a lucrative money making scheme after having established a firm, 'Lion Oak India'. They would accept money illegally from hundreds of investors promising them that they
would double their investment in no time. It is to be noted that the actress and her partner have been arrested before in 2013 under a similar charge for allegedly cheating a reputed bank in Chennai.
