Mahesh Babu To Make His Tamil Debut After Missing It Four Years Ago

According to the latest buzz, Telugu star Mahesh Babu will be making his Tamil debut in the movie titled Brahmotsavam opposite Rakul Preet Singh and Pranitha. The film, which is said to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual will be directed by famed Telugu director Srikanth Addala and will be produced by Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinemas.
Though the complete cast is not finalized yet, actor Sathyaraj, who will feature in Baahubali, has been roped in to play an important role, it is said.

Among the technicians, cameraman Rathnavelu aka Randy, veteran art director Thota Tharani and famed editor Sreekar Prasad have been brought on board to take care of their respective departments.

Music composer Mickey J Meyer, who had earlier worked in Inidhu Inidhu(the official remake of Happy Days) will take care of the musical bit in Brahmotsavam.

It is to be noted that this is Mahesh Babu's first movie in Tamil as he earlier missed out on an opportunity to work with ace director Mani Ratnam.

Mahesh had even shared the news on social networking pages that he is all set to make his Tamil debut through Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' before the ambitious project was shelved.

After almost four years since then, the much sought after Telugu star will now have an opportunity to impress the Tamil audience and perhaps, strengthen his market in Tamil Nadu as well.
