Mohanlal And Mukesh In Priyadarshan's Ammu To Ammu

Mohanlal and Mukesh will play the lead roles in Priyadarshan's upcoming movie Ammu To Ammu. The movie, which is expected to start rolling from the first week of October, is penned Priyadarshan himself. Priyadarshan has earlier directed his
best buddies Mohanlal and Mukesh, in some highly popular movies, including Boeing Boeing and Vandanam. The trio last teamed up for the movie Oru Marubhoomi Katha, which was an average grosser at the box office.

Mukesh and Mohanlal last shared the screen in Arun Vaidyanathan's satirical comedy Peruchazhi. Mohanlal last associated with Priyadarshan in the horror thriller Geethanjali, which is the spin-off classic movie Manichitrathazhu.

The movie, in which Mohanlal reprised the character Dr. Sunny, was a critical and commercial disaster.

Priyadarshan was heavily criticized for the making such a disappointing spin-off, based on one of the best ever movie made in M'town.

It is a low phase for Priyadarshan in both personal and professional life. The filmmaker lost both his parents and he separated from his actress wife Lissy, in 2014. Priyan is all set to bounce back with some promising projects.

He is all set to start filming for his upcoming Tamil flick, with Prakashraj in the lead role. The movie

is penned by director AL Vijay and produced by actress Amala Paul. Reportedly, the movie is based on Aids awareness.
