Vijay 59 Gets A Release Date Even Before Its Completion?

The shooting of Vijay 59 might have begun only recently but it looks like the makers of the film have already locked the release date, well in advance. While the film officially commenced with a traditional Pooja last month, the shooting for the same began seven days ago, but according to a report by IndiaGlitz, the team of Vijay 59
are looking to release the film in early 2016. January 15th, the auspicious day of Pongal, gets the first priority as far as the release date is concerned. In case the film fails to make it to theatres on January 15th,

then the second possible date could be January 26th. Are the producers of Vijay 59 locking the release dates 6 months in advance to let others know about their intention of releasing the film for Pongal? Well, it is too early to jump 

to a conclusion as January 2016 is a long way ahead. Besides, we cannot be certain that the movie will be completed anytime before early 2016, considering Atlee's plans of shooting a chunk of the film in China. 

The film has Samantha and Amy Jackson playing the female leads and it is speculated that it could be the story of a cop. Stay tuned for more updates.

Doing It The Traditional Way The Pooja was held last month which marked the commencement of the film. The event saw many prominent celebrities.

The First Shot This is the first time Atlee will be directing a star of Vijay's stature. This could well be his career defining film.

Prabhu As Vijay's Father? Prabhu could be playing Vijay's father in the movie. Sathyaraj too was approached to play the lead negative role.
