WASHINGTON: Microsoft may launch a mini version of Surface tablet this summer. The tablet is currently under production as per Twitter user @evleaks.
The rumour was rife that the tablet will be launched in May when Microsoft invited media personnels for a gathering but so far there is no news of the tablet, CNET reported.Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and executive vice president Stephen Elop deliberately scraped off the Tab earlier believing that it isn't different enough from the competition in the market.Microsoft has previously kept itself engaged in high-end tablets which even positioned Surface Pro 3 as a laptop replacement, the report added.
