Ram Gopal Varma Praises Shankar, Criticises Every Other Indian Filmmaker!

Shankar's upcoming film I  with Vikram has been the talk of the town for sometime now. With the film's anticipation reaching never seen before heights after the release of its official theatrical trailer, I  is now expected to compete even with major Hindi films in terms of box office collections. Also, Ram Gopal Varma's string of tweets has caught movie goers' attention in North India too.
Recently, Ram Gopal Varma took to twitter to shower praises on Shankar and his upcoming film I.

RGV has said if at all Indian films are taken seriously by Hollywood ever, it will be because of Shankar's I. Describing Shankar as a bigger personality than Rajinikanth and Jayalalitha in terms of generating enthusiasm,

he has also said I will break Lingaa's first day box office record. Criticizing every other Indian filmmaker, he has said, "I think "I" will be the film for Indian film makers to feel a kick on their ..that they are not pushing the boundaries like Shanker".

Terming Shankar as the only trailblazer in the entire Indian film industry, he has predicted I  will be a groundbreaker in terms of sheer originality and audacity. Since the film is slated for a Pongal release(Sankranti), he has said it is likely to be a "shanker raatri" when the film hit the screen and only ''dumb people"

will release their films to compete with I. Comparing I  with Aamir Khan's PK, he has hinted that PK might fail to keep the cash registers ringing once I  comes alive on screen. Also he has said if Aamir Khan and Shankar join hands then India will get its first "Avatar"!
