Emraan Hashmi has injured himself at the sets of his upcoming film which is about cricketer Azharuddin. Last year, his films got pushed due to his son's bad health and it looks like even the start of this year is not so great for the actor. The Ungli has injured himself now while training for the biopic.
A source revealed, "Emraan had been prepping up for the Azharuddin biopic and was learning the nuances of the
game when he hurt himself." "Azhar is known to be a wristy batsman and Emraan was training for the same. While doing so, he injured his wrist and had been advised bed rest", confirmed his spokesperson. Director of the biopic Tony D'Souza said, "Azhar bhai is a wristy
player and is known for his leg glance and he only uses his wrist. Emraan hits approx 300 to 400 balls a day and is only playing with his wrists." Director praised the actor's professionalism and also said, "Despite the swelling in his hand, he kept practizing to get each and every
nuance of Azhar right. This, along with the footwork of Azhar is very tough for anyone to master. But Emraan is training really hard for it. On some days Emraan does another two hundred balls in the evening."
