Kollywood is the second largest film industry in India, and we can find hundreds of films releases, in which only few of them are made with huge budgets.
The films of big stars like Rajini, Kamal, Vijay, Ajith etc are usually made with some whopping budgets and at the time of release these films, the small budget films get affected.
The Tamil Film Producers Council has now drawn out a new rule to regulate the release of big budget films, only on the festival days.

If the production cost of the film exeeds 15 crore rupees, it will be considered as a big budget film.
