It Hurts When I Have To Ask Money From My Mother: Simbu

Silambarasan's(Simbu) career graph has clearly taken a nosedive in the past couple of years as the remuneration list of Tamil actors for the year 2015 would suggest. With only a handful of films in the last 5 years that includes a couple of cameo appearances, Simbu is apparently desperate to bounce back.
In the audio launch function of his friend Santhanam's Inimey Ippadithaan, Simbu surprised everyone present at the

event with his candid speech, exposing his emotional self. "I lost everything, films, money; it hurts when I have to ask money from my mother for my daily expenses.

I also lost the girl whom I loved the most", said a dewy-eyed Simbu, summing-up his situation.

He also thanked director Gautham Menon for his support and belief towards him. "Many had told Gautham not to cast me in Vinnaithaandi

Varuvaayaa, but he believed in me". Simbu has once again joined hands with the Yennai Arindhaal  director and he would be hoping that their second film Acham Enbathu Madamaiyada

will turn his fortunes around. While uncertainty still looms over the release date of Vaalu, Pandiraj's Idhu Namma Aalu which has Simbu and Nayantara in the lead is still

being filmed. Yet another news pertaining to Simbu has it that a new heroine has been confirmed for his upcoming film with Selvaraghavan after Trisha walked out of the project.

The film which also has Taapsee will now welcome Catherine Tresa of Madras fame to replace Trisha,

according to a report. With a bag full of films under his belt, Simbu would be hoping to own the next couple of years and reclaim his position as one of the top most heroes of Tamil cinema.
