Actor-writer Murali Gopy's wife Anjana Pillai passed away. The 38-year-old succumbed to death due to a sudden cardiac arrest, on Sunday. The cremation will take place at Thaikkad Shantikavadam, Trivandrum at 11 am today.
Anjana Pillai was working as the assistant manager at State Bank Of India, Pattom branch. She collapsed in the elevator of her apartments while coming back home after dropping her kids at the tuition center.
Murali Gopy and Anjana Pillai have 2 kids; Gowri and Gaurav, who studies at 10th and 2nd standards respectively. Anjana was the daughter late Neelakanda Pillai and Jalaja. She has a brother Akhilesh, who resides in Mumbai.
Anjana is also the daughter-in-law of veteran actor, late Bharath Gopy, and Jayalakshmi Amma. Murali Gopy has always kept his personal life under wraps and rarely makes public appearances with his family.
