Interesting Facts About Jayam Ravi Starrer 'Romeo Juliet'

Jayam Ravi-Hansika starrer Romeo Juliet is all set to hit theatres this Friday(12th June). The film is directed by producer turned director Lakshman and is bankrolled by Nanthagopal S. Though the film has not enjoyed huge anticipation or
buzz around it, it has been in the news ever since the track 'Dandanakka' was released and hence has managed to catch some attention. Amidst controversies and delays, the movie is finally on its way to get noticed worldwide this Friday.

It's a romance-comedy, which revolves around two characters, Romeo and Juliet. Apart from the central characters, the flick features Vamsi Krishna in a negative role and actors like Uma Padmanabhan, 

VTV Ganesh and Poonam Bajwa in supporting roles. While the music has been scored by D Imman, S Soundar Rajan has wielded the camera. Editor Anthony has chipped in with his editing skills and lyrics for the songs

 have been written by Rokesh, Madhan Karky and Thamarai. All Jayam Ravi fans have been waiting eagerly for the release of this movie as their favourite star has had a quiet couple of years. His previous movie

Nayantara's Loss Is Hansika's Gain It is reported that Nayantara was first approached for the heroine role. But since, the actress had already signed Jayam Ravi's Thani Oruvan, she rejected the offer saying she doesn't want to feature in two films with the same hero at a time. Hansika was approached next.

Hansika A Futuristic Girl According to Hansika, Romeo Juliet has an interesting storyline, the pretty actress has revealed that her role is about a girl with futuristic attitude, while Jayam Ravi's character would be more conservative. Isn't it the opposite usually?

Arya's Special Appearance The team of Romeo Juliet had shot a sequence where real life celebrities approach Jayam Ravi's character, a fitness trainer, to help them achieve six pack abs. Arya, a good friend of Jayam Ravi, made a guest appearance.
