animal rights activists have voiced against the government. Now Vishal too will join the protest by participating in a hunger strike which will be organized by the group 'People For Cattle In India' at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai.
The event will take place on 25th July. According to a report by a leading daily the actor has said, "I am participating as a dog lover. I wanted to raise my voice against the killing of stray dogs. The main slogans of this
event will be 'stop cruelty to animals' and 'stop killing dogs in Kerala'." Jilla actor Mohanlal too had recently shared his thoughts on the government's decision for which he attracted criticisms as his comments were allegedly misinterpreted.
Vishal's Love For Dogs The actor has said he himself owns a dog named August and treats him like a son of his. He believes that dogs have the right to live and nobody has the right to kill them.
Work Is Worship Since Vishal will be working on 25th July, he has said that he will take part in the hunger strike for few hours post which he will go about his business as a shooting session is scheduled on that day.
Another Event In Coimbatore After the hunger strike on Saturday, Vishal will be heading toward Coimbatore the following day to take part in an event to support cattle welfare.
